The instructor for this course is Dan Cronquist, an ardent fan of anime and a local engineer. He’s been a member of First Presbyterian Church for the better part of 26 years – but don’t let that fool you, he’s only 26 years old. While attending school in San Luis Obispo, he led Bible studies with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and has spent the last year and a half leading a Small Group for single adults at First Pres.

God has given Dan a deep love for Japanese culture and the Japanese people. In the summer of 2005 he was fortunate to spend 4 weeks in Japan and another 2 weeks last May. As you may imagine, he has a large anime collection, but this series is special to him. Dan has given this same class on Haibane Renmei several times before in San Luis Obispo and looks forward to this coming one in Bakersfield.
